MD in Radiology is a postgraduate medical program. In this program students deal with high-energy radiation, such as X-Rays, to diagnose and treat underlying medical problems. A Radiologist is also called a physician who discovers the problem after analyzing the cause by using Radio-technology and gives a suitable treatment. With the help of this course, students can gain knowledge about areas like the production of Radio-physics, X-rays, Radiography, Special radiography, Radiation detection, and measurement, etc. After completion of this course, Graduates have multiple opportunities to work as Radiologists, Sonographers, MRI Technicians, CT Scan Technologists, and various other positions in Private as well as in Government organizations.
Course Duration -
MD (Radiology) degree is for a total duration of 3 years. This course gives equal importance to both theoretical learning and practical hands-on exposure. The Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) is the regulatory organization managing MD (Radiology).
