  • Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 level or its equivalent from any recognized board.
  • Marks Criteria: Minimum aggregate marks obtained must be 60% in the qualifying examination. Equivalence has been established between qualifications obtained from approved British Examination Bodies, such as GCSE/IGCSE/GCE exams, and a +2 stage qualification, provided that the former includes a minimum of 5 subjects graded A, B, or C at the ordinary level (O-Level) and 2 or 3 subjects at the advanced level (A-Level), including English.

 For B.Com(Hons.):

  • Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent (ISC, CBSE, Cambridge, IB, State Board) or from any recognized board.

 For M.Des:

  • Qualification: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in design or engineering (any stream), architecture, interior design, or its equivalent with 10+2+4 years (min. 4 years of bachelor's course).
  • V.A./B.F.A. (4-year professional program with entry after 10+2)
  • D Arts (4-year program after one-year foundation) + 1 Year of work experience
  • 10+2+3 year degree in any relevant stream (applicable only for M.Des in Communication design)
  • 10+2+3 years degree + 1 year work experience

Admission Process

  • For UG admissions, candidates must have completed Class 12 in a relevant stream with a minimum of 60% marks.
  • RV University's 2022 admission process will depend on the selection procedure decided by the university for various courses.
  • For admission into the B.Tech (Hons) program, selection will be based on the candidate's performance in the RVSAT exam and RVU selection process.
  • The selection process for RVU will differ based on the course applied for and the RVSAT score of the candidate.
  • Once candidates fulfill the eligibility and admission criteria, they will be issued a selection letter for admission.

Internship

RV University provides excellent opportunities for students and helps them gain practical experience and hands-on training in their respective fields. The RV University campus, currently housed in a modern building that accommodates administrative departments, spacious classrooms, and labs spread over 5700 square meters, is committed to accessibility and inclusion.  For the convenience of the disabled and those in need, ramps, and elevators have been thoughtfully provided.

  • Hostel & Accommodation: There are four boys' hostels and two girls' hostels, providing accommodation for students at the institution. To ensure their comfort and safety, a range of facilities and conveniences are available, including a common mess serving vegetarian food, sports facilities, a gymnasium, and Wi-Fi services. The type of accommodation varies depending on the year of study, intending to create a suitable and supportive environment for all students.
  • Reprographic Service: 

The RV University has set up facilities for taking photocopies, binding, and lamination on campus, catering to the needs of its students. The reprographic center is conveniently located within the food court complex and operates at flexible times for the convenience of students. It offers services such as binding, photocopying, and lamination, enabling students to complete their academic projects and assignments with ease.

Sports: 

There are many sporting facilities on the sprawling campus of more than 50 acres, catering to the needs of sports enthusiasts. Sports facilities include large fields for playing cricket, football, or hockey, as well as indoor and outdoor courts for fast-paced games like volleyball, basketball, badminton, and table tennis. Fitness enthusiasts can also enjoy indoor games and a gym on campus. Having access to such a wide range of sports facilities allows students to stay active while studying and pursue their passion for sports.

Safety and Security: CCTVs have been installed at all vantage points inside and around the campus and inside the buildings to ensure 24×7 safety and security. A team of individuals constantly monitors the CCTV feeds, identifying any potential issues and promptly taking the necessary action.

Food Court: Within the premises of RV University lies "Mingo's," a multi-cuisine food court that serves a diverse range of dishes to cater to the nutritional needs of over 1000 students, faculty, and staff. The spacious and well-ventilated area of 500 square meters offers ample seating space for diners.

In addition to the main cafeteria, there is a mini-food joint located at the center of the campus, providing quick and ready-to-eat snacks for customers. It is a convenient spot for anyone in need of a quick bite. Overall, the food options available within the campus are designed to meet the diverse culinary preferences of its community while ensuring hygiene and quality.

Medical Facilities: The campus has an exclusive health center that is open to all students and staff from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., all through the week. A parked ambulance is also available at the clinic in case of an emergency. Between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., hostel students have access to a specialized clinical facility that is exclusively available to them. The facility maintains the health records of all hostel students, which are regularly updated to ensure their continued well-being.

24*7 Wifi-enabled Campus: 

RV University has a 1000 Mbps leased line on fiber. RV University's browsing center is equipped with 100 nodes and is accessible to students from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Additionally, the university campus is Wi-Fi enabled, providing students with internet connectivity throughout the campus.

ATM: 

The university has a fully automated bank (Kotak Mahindra Bank, RVCE Branch) with two ATMs catering to the needs of over 7,000 students, faculty, and staff on campus. A facility for Electronic Clearance (EC) is available at the bank for parents and students to pay various fees, such as hostel charges, mess bills, and university fees.
