Eligibility criteria:

Under-Graduate

BE

• Passed the 2nd PUC/ 12th / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the languages with a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics/ Computers. (40% for Karnataka reserved category candidates).
• Taking any one entrance exam is Mandatory. CET/ COMED-K / JEE / AIEEE

For Diploma Holders

• Secured a Minimum of 50% marks in the final examination by the Board of Technical Examination, Govt. of Karnataka or its equivalent.
• Common Entrance Test (DCET) for Diploma students will be conducted by the CET Cell, Govt. of Karnataka.
• Seats will be allotted during the centralized counseling process conducted by the CET Cell.

For NRI Students

• Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by AIU with 45% aggregate in PCM & English.

Post-Graduate

MTech (Technology/CSE/VLSI Design & Embedded Systems)

• Relevant BE/BTech degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for Karnataka SC/ST category) from a recognized university. 
• Entrance Exam (anyone): PGCET/GATE in the core specialization

Master of Computer Application (MCA)

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for Karnataka SC/ST category) from a recognized university. 
• Entrance Exam: PGCET/KMAT

Admission and selection process:

The admission and selection process for Acharya Institute of Technology (AIT) varies depending on the course and the student's category.

For undergraduate programs:

• Applicants must have passed the 12th grade or equivalent with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• Applicants must have a valid score in an entrance exam such as COMEDK UGET or JEE Main.
• Shortlisted applicants will be called for counseling.
• Final selection will be based on the applicant's performance in the entrance exam and the counseling process.

For postgraduate programs:

• Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 50% marks.
• Applicants must have a valid score in an entrance exam such as GATE, MAT, CMAT, or KMAT.
• Shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview.
• Final selection will be based on the applicant's performance in the entrance exam, the interview, and their academic record.

For international students:

• International students must submit an application form, transcripts, and proof of English proficiency.

Hostel: 

Acharya Institute of Technology (AIT) has 12 hostels, 5 for boys and 7 for girls, with a capacity to accommodate over 1500 students. The hostels are well-equipped with all the necessary facilities, including:

• Comfortable rooms: The rooms in the AIT hostels are spacious and well-furnished. Each room has a bed, table, chair, wardrobe, and cupboard.
• Attached bathrooms: All the rooms in the AIT hostels have attached bathrooms with hot and cold water supplies.
• Mess facilities: AIT provides mess facilities to all its hostel inmates. The mess serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
