 Eligibility Criteria

BE / B.Tech

  • Candidates must have passed the Class 10+2 exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
  •  Must have secured a minimum aggregate mark of 45% in the above subjects combined.
  •  In the case of SC / ST, Category-1, 2A, 2B, 3B, and 3B category, minimum marks for eligibility shall be 40%

ME/ M.Tech

  • Candidate must have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent examination in a relevant branch from a recognized University/ Institute and must have secured 50% marks in the aggregate percentage.
  •  In case of Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Group 1 must have secured 45% marks in aggregate percentage is applicable only for Karnataka candidates.
  • Candidates with valid GATE scores are given first preference and such candidates need not appear for Karnataka PGCET.

MBA

  • Candidates who have passed the Bachelor's Degree examination with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate in all three years of the Degree examination or any other University equivalent thereto with 50% marks.
  • In the case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST & Cat-I, the aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examination shall not be less than 45% of the marks.
  • At the time of admission, students have to produce the ranks obtained in any one of the National Level Test/State Level Test / PGCET/ K-MAT score certificates.

Admission and Selection Process

The admission and selection process at Brindavan College of Engineering (BCE) can be summarized as follows:

Undergraduate Admissions

Eligibility: To be eligible for undergraduate programs at BCE, candidates must have completed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects, along with Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology, or Electronics as one of the subjects, and a minimum aggregate score of 45%.

Selection Criteria: BCE admits students to undergraduate programs based on their merit in either the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) UGET.

Admission Procedure:

Candidates who have taken the KCET or COMEDK UGET exams must register for counseling and include BCE among their preferred colleges.

Admissions will be granted based on the candidate's ranking in KCET or COMEDK UGET.

Shortlisted candidates will need to attend a counseling session at the college.

After counseling, admitted students will be required to submit the necessary documents and pay the admission fee.

Postgraduate Admissions

Eligibility: For admission to postgraduate programs, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.

Selection Criteria: Postgraduate admissions at BCE are determined by the candidate's merit in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or the Karnataka Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET).
