Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management was established in 2011 by the founder Late Shri R Dayananda Sagar and the campus has 7.5 acres of land with a large infrastructure. The Central Library occupies 2512.08 Sq. mts of area. The campus is WIFI-equipped. DSATM is an Autonomous University approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the government of India. Organizations look for candidates with both technical and interpersonal abilities in today's dynamic work environment. Admission Procedure

Common exams administered by national and state organizations like CET and COMMED-K are used in the DSATM admissions procedure. Every year, it starts in March and ends on the last day of July. The third-semester lateral entrance (Diploma Quota) through CET begins in the months of July/August.

B.E Programs:

Common Entrance Test (CET), administered by the Karnataka Government and the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka COMEDK, is the entrance exam for undergraduate admission to college. The meritorious students are given consideration for admission. A first-time pass in the 10+2 or equivalent exam with specializations in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.A passing grade in the 10+2 or equivalent test with 45% overall marks in the subjects of physics, chemistry, math, biology, computer science, and electronics

Admission through Management Quota:

Candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% and must have passed each of these subjects separately for UG admission to college. Physics, math, and chemistry are the three necessary subjects.

Scholarships are available to students through the Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management based on their academic standing and financial situation. The college establishes the requirements for eligibility for scholarships. Below are some specifics regarding the DSATM scholarship.

  • Through the state scholarship portal, all BE/B.Arch/MBA students from SC/ST/(CAT-1/2A/3A/3B & other backward classes) Defense are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

For the benefit of all students, Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management has a top-notch placement division. The Center provides pre-placement training in soft skills to all students in order to assist them in becoming familiar with current business requirements. This training is provided in partnership with CIL - Centre for Innovation & Leadership and HR Division. The placement division additionally supports training in group discussions, mock interviews, aptitude testing, and CV writing. It acts as a focal point for the assortment of resources, many of which are related to all DSATM problems. Furthermore, it ensures that information sources are gathered and organized to meet the information needs of both present and potential consumers. Delivering the right information to the right consumers at the right time is our library's main objective. In addition to bound volumes, databases, audio-visuals, CDs/DVDs, e-books, e-journals, course materials, and project reports, the library has a hybrid collection of printed and electronic resources.

ICT FACILITIES

The campus is fully technologically advanced, with staff and students having access to Wi-Fi and the Internet around the clock. Airtel has installed a fiber optic internet leased line with a speed of 100 MBPS 1:1 throughout the campus. CISCO and DLINK equipment is utilized for switching, with a minimum port capacity of 24 and a maximum port capacity of 42. 200 Airtel Wi-Fi access points have been installed across the campus to provide constant internet access. On the campus, there are a total of 688 computers with LAN connections that students and faculty can use for academic purposes. All of the classrooms and laboratories include Wi-Fi capabilities, well-equipped PCs, LCD projectors with screens, and access to portable audio systems.
