Eligibility Criteria

Under-Graduate

  • The students must have passed PUC/10+2 or Equivalent Examination from a recognised board with a minimum of 45% of marks in any stream (40% marks for SC/ST Candidates).
  • For LLB Course Candidate's age should be 30 years for General Category and 35 for SC/ST or Backward Category
  • For BBA LLB Candidates Age should be 22 on the 1st June of the Admission Year

Post-Graduate Diploma

  • A candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in LL.B/ B.L from a recognized University with a minimum of 45% ( 40% for reserved Category) marks in aggregate.

Certificate Course

  • A Candidate should pass +2 or a Degree in any Stream from a Recognized college or University.

Admission process

The admission process at ISBR School of Law is as follows:

Eligibility: Candidates must have passed any degree from a recognized Indian University/or Equivalent of an Indian University with a minimum of 45% marks. For SC/ST students of Karnataka, the minimum mark required is 40%. The age limit for General Category students is 30 years and for SC/ST of Karnataka, it is 35 years as of the date of the academic year (1 June of every year).

Application: Candidates can apply online through the ISBR website. The application fee is Rs. 1000/-.

Selection: The selection process is based on the candidate's performance in the following:

Personal Interview: The personal interview will assess the candidate's communication skills, critical thinking ability, and motivation to pursue a career in law.

Academic Performance: The candidate's academic performance in their previous degree will also be considered.

Admission: Shortlisted candidates will be offered admission to the LLB program.

Scholarships

ISBR School of Law offers a number of scholarships to its students, based on merit and financial need. Some of the scholarships available include:

ISBR Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students who have scored 75% or above in their previous degree. The scholarship amount is Rs. 10,000/- per year.

ISBR Financial Need Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate financial need. The scholarship amount is Rs. 5,000/- per year.

ISBR SC/ST Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students belonging to the SC/ST category. The scholarship amount is Rs. 5,000/- per year.

ISBR Women Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to female students. The scholarship amount is Rs. 5,000/- per year.

ISBR Armed Forces Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students whose parents are serving or retired members of the Indian Armed Forces. The scholarship amount is Rs. 5,000/- per year.

  • Hostel & Accommodation: ISBR Law College has two hostels, one for boys and one for girls. Both hostels are located on campus and are within walking distance of the classrooms and library. Hostels are well-maintained and provide a comfortable and safe environment for students to live in. The hostels have a variety of facilities, including Shared bedrooms, Common areas, Laundry facilities, a Dining hall, and   a 24 x 7 Wi-Fi Facility
  • Library:  The library at ISBR Law College is a well-equipped facility that provides students with access to a wide range of resources.
