Eligibility Criteria

B.E.

  • Passed PUC/10+2/Equivalent examination from a recognized university and obtained 45% aggregate marks in Physics & Mathematics along with Chemistry /biotechnology/computer science /Biology/Electronics and English as language. 
  • For Karnataka Students, 40% in the case of SC/ST & OBCs secured a rank in the entrance test.
  • Entrance test not applicable to NRI/Foreigners
  • The selection is based on KCET scores /JEE Main Scores

B.Arch

  • Passed PUC examination with at least 50% aggregate marks with PCM & and at least 50% marks in aggregate at 10+ 2 level examination OR Passed the 10+3 diploma with Mathematics as a mandatory subject with at least 50% aggregate marks.
  • For Karnataka Students, 45% in the case of SC/ST & OBCs secured a rank in the entrance test.
  • The selection is based on scores obtained at the NATA entrance.

M.Tech

  • Passed BE/B. Tech in the relevant discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks put together in all semesters.
  • For Karnataka Students, 40% in the case of SC/ST/OBC secured a rank in the entrance test.
  • The Students will be selected based on the GATE / Karnataka PGCET score. 
  • Karnataka Students must secure 45% in GATE.

MBA

  • Passed a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • For Karnataka Students, 45% in the case of SC/ST & OBCs secured a rank in the entrance test.
  • The students will be chosen based on their KMAT, CAT, CMAT, MAT, and XAT scores.
  • Group Discussions & Personal Interviews will be a part of the selection process.

MCA

  • Passed a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks..
  • In the case of Karnataka Students, they must have secured 45% marks (SC/ST candidate) in all subjects including Languages. 
  • If the Student has not studied a degree, they must have passed PUC/10+2/Equivalent with Mathematics/B.Maths/ Statistics/Computer Science as one of the Optional subjects (OR) Passed in any one of the subjects specified above securing 50% of the marks in PUC/10+2/Equivalent and secured a rank in the entrance test
  • The Students will be selected based on their scores in Karnataka PGCET.

MCA (Lateral Entry)

  • Pass in BCA/B. Sc Computer Science with 50% marks and secured a Rank in the entrance exam.

Admission

Admission decisions are dependent on applicants' performance in prerequisite exams as well as the outcome of a common entrance exam administered by the government of Karnataka.

Hostel & Accommodation:Boys' and girls' hostels each have their own amenities and accommodations. The rooms are spacious and well furnished with modern facilities and good internet connectivity. The senior students have the option to avail the facility of independent studio apartments.

Library: The library has a 13000 square foot carpeted room all to itself.More than 55,000 volumes are housed in the library covering a wide variety of subjects from engineering, and computer science to business administration. The students can take Xerox of the materials in the library itself. 

Sports:Students are encouraged to take part in the many sports and cultural events organized by the institution or an outside organization. A modern on-site gym has been constructed just for the pupils.

Computer Lab: To fulfill the IT requirements of a developing global environment, the computer lab is on par with corporate buildings. There is a computer lab with the most recent software installed that is centrally air-conditioned.

Transport: TOCE has its own fleet of buses that flies from all parts of the city for the students.

Research centers: Visvesvaraya Technological University has recognized eleven departments of our college as research centers to offer Ph.D./ M.Sc (Engg) by research programs. The students aiming to do higher studies can register with TOCE Research Centers for undertaking the courses.

Corporate Exposure and Learning (CEL): Every Student is eligible to take part in a 10-week CEL at the end of the second semester and before the commencement of the Third semester. The CEL report must be submitted by the students in the university-prescribed format.
