Eligibility Criteria
Under-Graduate

BE

• Passed in Second PUC/12th standard/10+2/A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with English as one of the Languages and obtained a minimum of 45% of Marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Electronics/Computer. (40% for SC, ST, category - 1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B category candidates of Karnataka State only.) Relaxation in minimum academic eligibility (i.e. 45% to 40%) is applicable only to Karnataka Candidates.
• Students must have cleared JEE/KCET or Any other engineering entrance exams

Post-Graduate

MBA

• Students must have graduated from any recognized University with an aggregate of 50% marks and above in Any Stream.
• Students must have a clear 60% of Any of these KMAT / CAT / MAT / GMAT / XAT.

M. Tech

• Students should have a Bachelor's Degree in the appropriate branch with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

• Students have to clear any of these GATE/PG-CET

Doctoral Programs

• Pass with 55% aggregate marks or equivalent marks prescribed by UGC in Master's degree, 2 years or 4 semesters Master's degree after 3 years of Bachelor's or equivalent in the relevant subject.
   

Foreign Students / Non-Resident Indians / SAARC Nationals / Overseas Citizens of India Admissions       

• All Foreign / NRI / NRI Sponsored admissions to UG & PG programs will be on a first-cum-first-serve merit basis, subject to the candidate’s performance in the 10+2 (for UG programs) / Bachelor Degree (for PG programs) of India or equivalent examination. 
• NO entrance examinations are required for this program.

Admission & Selection Process

Under-Graduate

• Admission to Undergraduate Engineering programs may be obtained through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) examination and selection process, or through the Management Admission process.

Common Entrance Test (CET):

• KEA conducts CET which is approved by Govt. of Karnataka
• This exam proves as a gateway to obtaining an engineering seat through the Government quota.

Post-Graduate

The PG Admission Process through any one of the following

Post-Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) Admission Process:

• KEA conducts PGCET during the months of May / June each year. 
• Mandatory for Admission to colleges affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).
• PGCET Counseling will be conducted based on the ranks that students get.

M.Tech/MBA/MCA

Master of Technology: Candidates must have a B.E. / B. Tech degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

MBA

• Students must have taken one of the following examinations to qualify: PGCET/KMAT/CMAT/CAT/MAT

Management Admission:

• It is open to both Karnataka and non-Karnataka students. 
• Candidates will be qualified for admission based on their academic merit and performance.

Ph.D. (All Disciplines): Must have a PG degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline from a recognized India University or a PG degree approved by the Association of Indian Universities/UGC/AICTE with not less than 55% aggregate or its equivalent Grade-B in UGC-7 point scale.

The campus is located in the city, opposite Manyata Tech Park at Nagwara, on the north side of Bangalore, Karnataka. HKBK College of Engineering is spread over 17 acres of land, opposite Manyata Tech Park, Nagavara, Bangalore.
