RNS Institute of Technology, sometimes known as RNSIT, was founded in 2001. Renowned industrialist and philanthropist Dr. R. N. Shetty developed it. The university was founded exclusively to provide top-notch education in engineering, technology, and management. The teaching and learning process is approached holistically at RNSIT. Advantages

  • Centre of Excellence- The CoE in Machine Learning established in 2018 has been actively organizing events such as expert lectures, Workshops, quizzes, and hackathons. The CoE is striving to fulfill its objective of providing project-based learning in machine learning-related domains.

  • Class Rooms-Well ventilated classrooms each having a seating capacity of 75. Every classroom is equipped to conduct theory classes using both conventional blackboard and LCD Projector for audio-visual flavor.
  • Laboratory-The department has 10 laboratory spaces with a total of 225 state-of-the-art computers with licensed software. The systems are powered with dedicated LAN 100Mbps and WiFi 500 Mbps leased lines. The hardware lab has 30 microcontroller kits, IOT kits, Voltmeters, Ammeters, CROs, other devices, etc.
  • Seminar Halls-Two seminar halls with audio-visual facilities suffice the infrastructure needed for conducting discussions, presentations, and assessment

Admission

  • CET

An establishment of Govt of Karnataka, the Common Entrance Test (CET) cell conducts an entrance test to determine the eligibility/merit, for admission to the first year or first semester of full-time professional courses for Government share of seats for BE i.e., all Engineering courses.

  • COMED-K

The responsibility of setting up a uniform admission exam for Engineering, Medical,  

and Dental programs has been delegated to the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, 

and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK).

  • JEE

Exams are administered by a department of the Indian government for admission to 

undergraduate engineering programs (B.E./B.Tech.) at participating state governments' 

supported institutions such as NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs. JEE (Main) serves as a 

prerequisite for the JEE (Advanced) exam, which is administered for IIT entrance.

  • GATE

For admission to the master's program (M.Tech.) and employment by some public  

sector companies, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a test that

RNSIT Hostel

Since its foundation, the RNS Management Alumni Association (MAA) has taken an active role in initiatives with a social focus. The main initiatives involve food drives during pandemics, the provision of food to orphan children, the distribution of school supplies to rural children, the donation of tricycles to individuals with disabilities, and tree planting. The organization is poised to launch this year its long-term goal of adopting a village.
