About SIBM:

The Symbiosis Institute of Business Management(SIBM) , Bengaluru was established in 2008. It is an integral part of Symbiosis International University which is deemed and accredited by NAAC, and approved by UGC. SIBM-B envisions a management education with a quantitative difference by focusing on data analytics across all specializations. Decision making, and analytical skills are developed in the students through the use of case-based methods of teaching and simulations. 

The SIBM Bengaluru offers Postgraduate courses such as Master in Business Administration (MBA), Master in Business Administration -Business Analytics(MBA-Business Analytics), Executive MBA, Executive Development Programs(EDPS), Quantitative Finance MBA. Eligibility & Admissions SIBM :

The Eligible candidates can apply online via official website and the candidates are shortlisted and have to appear for Selection Process and then the admission process is completed by the institutional guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate must have completed a Bachelor's Degree with 50% aggregate in any discipline from a recognised organization.
  • The candidates appearing for the final semester examination can also apply.

For MBA- Executive

  • The candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree with 50% aggregate in any discipline from a recognised organization.
  • The candidate must have minimum 1 year work experience from a recognised/ autonomous organization.

Admission & Selection Process SIBM :

The admission and selection process for MBA Students In SIBM-B are:

  • The eligible candidate has to attend SNAP Test 
  • The shortlisted candidates qualified SNAP will appear in Group exercise(GE) & Personal Interaction(PI).

The final shortlist of the candidates are based on SNAP score and performance in the Group exercise(GE) & Personal Interaction(PI).

  • Final merit list for admission to MBA Program are based on:
  • Snap score out of 60=50 marks
  • Group Exercise(GE)=10 marks
  • Personal Interaction(PI)=40 marks
  • Total marks=100

The MBA-Executive candidates selection process:

  • Based on the performance of the candidate in Personal Interactions(PI).

Campus Life at SIBM:

The SIBM-B is a campus located in the Electronic city of Bengaluru. The campus is very attractive with modern architecture. The Class rooms are modern and spacious. The campus has academic and non academic blocks, a library which is well equipped, a computer lab and many more facilities. The campus is a bright environment for the students to focus on their education with no distractions.

Hostel & Accommodation: 

The hostels are separate for boys and girls with all the basic facilities such as electricity, water supply, furniture, and also wifi enabled. The hostel provides healthy and hygienic food for the students residing, laundry facilities are also provided. The rooms are spacious and ventilated with a neat atmosphere.

Library:

SIBM-B provides more than 31821 e-journals, 21 e-Databases, 232488 e-books through SIU library Portal. The library functions on KOHA Library Management Software. The library has subscribed to e-resources such as HBS Unlimited, Ivey Unlimited, Unlimited Simulations, CMIE ProwessIQ, CMIE ProwessDX and Indiastat to access information that supports students, faculties and research scholars.

Sports & Fitness:

The institute has a wide playground for the students to play outdoor games such as Cricket, Football, Volleyball, BasketBall. The indoor games such as Table Tennis, carrom, Chess and many games are also available for students to play in their spare time. The institute hostel provides Gymnastics for the fitness of the student.

Auditoriums:

The auditorium is vast with capacity to hold 500+ people in the same room at the same time. The room is equipped with a good sound system so the sound is audible to everyone present in it. The auditorium is used for seminars, conferences, cultural activities, and more events organized by the institution.

Safety & Security:

The campus is secured with a security team surrounded in and around the campus for the student's safety. The surveillance camera is arranged in all the floors and all the rooms and corridors. The record of each individual’s details entering the campus is recorded by the security team at the entrance and exit of the campus.

Transportation:

The campus provides transportation facilities for the students traveling from far places. As the campus is located in the busiest area as electronic city students can find direct access for public transport, cab and etc.
