Admission & Selection Process

Students who are interested in Symbiosis Pune admission should visit their official website siu.edu.in to register and begin the admissions process. Students can enroll in a range of undergraduate, graduate, and diploma programs at Symbiosis International University. Each of the courses offered below includes a description of the entry requirements. While SIU accepts national-level tests like the JEE, GATE, and SNAP for B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA admissions, they also hold university-level entrance exams for other degrees.

  • To enroll in BBA, BCA, B.Sc., and related programs at Symbiosis Pune, you must pass the SET exam.
  • SLAT is required for admission to Symbiosis International University for BA LLB and BBA LLB programs.

How to Apply:

  • Visit the Symbiosis University's official website at siu.edu.in.
  • Select the course you wish to apply for with the exam by clicking on apply.
  • Fill out the application and supply the necessary data.
  • Submit the application and pay the charge.
  • For SET, the application fee is INR 1750, and for SNAP, INR 1950. The exam cost is not refundable for either exam.

B.E/B. Tech 45% in math, physics, chemistry, biology, biotechnology, and technical vocational topics at 10+2 from a recognized board For reserved categories, criteria are relaxed.
B.Arch. 10+2 diploma with math, physics, and chemistry, or 10+3 diploma with math and 50% from a recognized board.
M.B.B.S. Intermediate/10+2/HSC/PUC with a science major from a reputable board.
L.L.B. Candidates must be a graduate in the relevant stream with 45% and 40% from an accredited university.
M.Des. undergraduate degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
M.E/M.Tech 50% on the relevant stream exam at the B.E./B.Tech. level or in any related subjects from an accredited technical board
L.L.M. 50% on the LLB exam from an accredited university. Marks for reserved categories are 45%.
M.Sc. Graduate degree in biological sciences with a minimum GPA of 45% for reserved categories and 50% for life science, home science, or health sciences.
M.B.A. 2 years of work experience plus a graduate degree in the relevant field with a minimum GPA of 50% from an accredited university
Ph.D. M.Phil. with course work or grade-b on the UGC 7-point scale comprises 55% of the total marks.

Physical Fitness: Every year, regular fitness assessments are carried out to establish baseline physical fitness requirements for all students, instructors, and staff, analyze data, propose treatments, and provide free counseling and personal training.

Health center: Through the Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC), Symbiosis International (Deemed University) provides medical services to all of its students, faculty, and staff members, both teaching and non-teaching. The Symbiosis Health Care Center (SCHC) was founded in 1997 with the goal of meeting the healthcare needs, especially of the Symbiosis students and staff, and creating a condition of "Positive Health" in them. The "In-house Health Care Unit" of Symbiosis offers services for curative, preventive, and promotional healthcare. Students and staff are provided with healthcare services through standardized healthcare facilities and superior NABL-approved lab services.
