Eligibility Criteria

UG Programs 

B.E.

  • Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary school examination with a minimum aggregate mark of 45% aggregate marks in optional subjects. The compulsory optional subjects include Physics and Mathematics along with one of the following subjects: Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the minimum marks percentage of aggregate marks shall be 40%.
  • Entrance Exam Entrance exams like JEE Main, KCET, or COMEDK must be qualified with a suitable score as that of the applicant.

PG Programs 

M.Tech/ MBA

  • M. Tech: A degree with B. E./B. Tech and minimum 50% marks. Admission to the program will be based on scores on the PGCET or GATE exams.
  • MBA Any graduation degree in any field with 50% marks as a minimum Passing through PGCET. Valid CAT / MAT / CMAT can also be considered.
     

Admission Process

1. Entrance Test

UG Programs

  • Take admission and appear for one of the following entrance tests:
  • KCET: For students from Karnataka.
  • COMEDK UGET: For all India students.
  • JEE Main is also acceptable.

PG Programs

  • PGCET for M.Tech admissions.
  • Valid scores from CAT/MAT/CMAT are accepted for MBA admissions.

2. Application

  • Fill up the application form, which is present on the website of RGIT. 
  • An application can be submitted online as well as offline
  • Attach required documents like mark sheet, identity proof, and photographs

3. Release of Merit List

  • After the entrance tests, RGIT will declare a merit list according to the scores obtained in the entrance tests coupled with the qualifying examinations.

4. Counseling

  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for counseling based on the merit list.
  • During counseling, candidates will opt for their desired courses along with their dates.

5. Fee Deposit

  • The shortlisted students are required to deposit the admission fee as communicated by the college for further confirmation regarding their seats. It must be kept in mind that the fee deposited cannot be withdrawn at any cost.

6. Final Admission Confirmation

  •  The seat of a candidate reporting after the last date or not paying the fee on the due date will be vacated for the next candidate on the waiting list.
