B.TECH - Marine Engineering

Marine engineering is a branch of engineering that deals with the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of ships, boats, submarines, offshore platforms, and other marine vessels and structures. It combines principles from various engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, and naval architecture.The effective and secure functioning of marine structures and vessels is the responsibility of marine engineers. Course Duration:The UG degree in Marine engineering is for 4 years from any university in the country for 10+2 students and is  3 years for Diploma graduates.

Eligibility for B.E./B.Tech:

  • Candidates should secure a minimum of 60% in the PCM subjects as well as aggregate at the class 12th board exams from a recognized Board & (55% for SC/ST/OBC)
  • Candidates age should be between 17 to 25 years of age.
  • The Students must have qualified in any one entrance exam: IMU-CET/JEE/MANET/BITSAT
