Eligibility for B.E./B. Tech in Information Technology
- The students must have passed the 10+2/PUC/equivalent examination from a recognized board or university with Physics, Maths, and Chemistry or Computer Science as mandatory subjects and secured 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC).
- The student should be 17 years of age by December 2023.
- The Students must have qualified in any one entrance exam: JEE/CET/COMEDK/ WBJEE/UPSEE.

The admission for B.E/B. Tech is done based on the ranking in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) or State levels Entrance Exams like KCET, TNEA, WBJEE, or direct university entrance exams. The JEE Mains exams are conducted in two phases. There are some colleges offering seats based on Merit from 12th Exams.
