  • The candidates to qualify for Admission should have scored the minimum percentile in NEET, MHT CET, AIIMS, GCET, ITM NEST, etc

BMLT Admission Process

  • The BMLT Admission Process varies from college to college. Certain institutions conduct common entrance tests, while others admit candidates based on their merit. Prospective students must ascertain the specific admission procedures for each college.
  • In India, a significant number of colleges typically adopt the Direct Admission process. Under this approach, candidates are selected based on their marks obtained in the Intermediate examination. To be considered, candidates must apply to a college or university of their choice.

Entrance Exams for Admission to College

In India, the majority of institutions offer admission to BMLT courses based on Class 12 marks. Candidates can apply directly to these institutes by completing the online application forms and submitting the required fees. On the other hand, leading government institutions follow a different approach and admit candidates based on their performance in an entrance test conducted by the respective institute. Only those candidates who perform well in these entrance exams are granted admission to the respective institute.

Here are the details of the Entrance Exams for the B.Sc Allied Health Course:

  • AIIMS B.Sc. (Hons.) Paramedical Entrance Exam: AIIMS conducts this national-level computer-based test (CBT) lasting about 3 hours for admission to various paramedical courses, across its institutes in India.
  • JIPMER B.Sc. Allied Medical Sciences Entrance Exam: JIPMER's CBT exam, lasting 2.5 to 3 hours, is crucial for B.Sc. Allied Medical Sciences admissions, at the institute.
  • NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Undergraduate): Conducted by NTA, NEET UG, a 3-hour exam in pen-and-paper or CBT mode, primarily focuses on medical and dental admissions. Some institutions may consider NEET scores for allied health science programs.
  • State-Level Entrance Exams: Various states hold their exams for paramedical and allied health science courses. Exam mode, duration (typically 2-3 hours), and details vary by state. Examples include PPMET in Punjab and HPMET in Haryana.
  • University-Specific Entrance Exams: Some universities and colleges conduct their entrance exams for Paramedical and allied Health courses. Exam mode and duration depend on the institution's policies.
