Eligibility Criteria

UG Programs 

  • Eligibility: The eligibility criteria for the candidates is that they should have passed 10+2 with aggregate marks of at least 45% in PCM/related subjects.
  • COMEDK UGET has strict intake procedures. Intake will be on the basis of merit score figures achieved in COMEDK UGET or KCET.

PG Programs

  • Eligibility: A bachelor's degree in engineering or any other discipline with an aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and Category-I candidates).
  • Entrance Exam Entrance test scores are acceptable in GATE or Karnataka PGCET for admission.

MBA

  • Eligibility: Any undergraduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST and Category-I candidates).
  • Entrance Test: Admission is done on the scores from Karnataka PGCET.

Doctoral Programs

  • Academic Qualifications: Post Graduate with minimum of 55 Percent aggregate marks in any discipline from a recognized University (For SC/ST - 50%).
  • Entrance Examination: Qualifying candidates shall be done based on entrance examinations like GATE, UGC NET, or any other equivalent national level entrance examination. In specific cases, the candidates could even be qualifying based on an entrance test by SVCE only.

Admission Process

Entrance Exam:

UG

  • Register yourself and appear for any of either COMEDK UGET or KCET.
  • Qualify in the entrance exam that you have chosen.

PG

  • For M.Tech: Register for GATE or PGCET.
  • For MBA: Register for CMAT, KMAT, or PGCET

Counseling Registration:

  •  Go to the official website of COMEDK or KCET, as applicable, for counseling registration.
  •  Login with your application credentials and do the registration process.

Document Verification:

  • Attend the counseling session and get your original documents verified. The list of required documents includes 10th and 12th mark sheets, entrance exam rank card, transfer certificate, and identification proof.

Choice Filling:

  • During Counseling you have to opt SVCE as your preferred institute with your choice of branch available.

Seat Allotment:

  • Allotment of seat is done with respect to your entrance exam score along with your choices of course.
  • Accept seat and pay Admission fee

Final Registration:

  • Report to SVCE for final registration and submission of application form, registration by the respective department and library.
