UGC NET Dec 2024: Ayurveda Biology Added – Check Full Subject List & Syllabus
Introduction
Ayurveda Biology has been introduced as a subject in the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 December Session. Interested candidates can apply for the newly added subject exam while filling out the UGC NET December 2024 Exam application form. The UGC NET Ayurveda Biology Syllabus is available on the official UGC website– ugcnetonline.in.
The UGC said, “Based on the expert committee's recommendations, the Commission, in its 581 meeting held on 25th June 2024, has decided to add ‘Ayurveda Biology’ as an additional subject from December 2024 onwards to the existing list of subjects of UGC-NET”.
“Ayurveda Biology is now introduced as a subject in the UGC-NET exam. Starting December 2024, candidates can opt for this unique subject, promoting interdisciplinary knowledge and ancient science of Ayurveda”, said the Commission in a post of X.
