The CBSE recently has announced options for students of Class 10 and 12 whose schools were recently disaffiliated. Effect of this disaffiliation is that students are at risk for being unable to appear for their very important board exams. After reviewing this situationCBSE has introduced various measures to protect students' academic future which allows them to continue their studies and perform in their exams without any disruption.
According to the new guidelines of the CBSE officials, students who are affected can transfer to nearby CBSE-affiliated schools and have been instructed to get admission after a smooth admission process. CBSE has provided this facility in several affiliated schools in each region to accommodate these students by ensuring them to appear for their board exams without any problem. The schools have been given proper guidance on integrating transfer students and making necessary arrangements by helping them to adapt quickly.
In addition to this, CBSE is also exploring the option of allowing students to appear as private candidates too. This option will help the students to register independently with the Board and take their exams directly without being associated with any particular school. This type of private candidate option is very useful for students who think that joining another school mid-year is very challenging.
These options reflect that CBSE is committed to minimise the impact of disaffiliation on students by allowing them to continue their academic journey smoothly and ensuring their capability to give and perform well in the 2025 Board Exams. Parents and students can go through the official website for detailed guidelines on the transfer and registration process.
