QS Asia University Rankings 2025: VIT Advances to 150th Position

Introduction

The QS Asia University Rankings 2025 were declared yesterday, i.e., 6 November 2024. The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has been given the 150th rank in the QS Asia University Rankings 2025. The institute has advanced 13 spots from last year's rank which was 163. 

Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) is a global company that ranks higher education institutions in the world. The QS Rankings are given based on factors like academic and employer reputation, faculty-student ratio, international research network, and the proportion of international students and faculty. 

QS World University Rankings 2025 Asia

Peking University has topped the QS World University Asia Rankings 2025, followed by the University of Hong Kong and the National University of Singapore (NUS). The QS Asia Rankings 2025 have been given in the table below–

Peking University has maintained its 1st position with a score of 100. The University Of Hong Kong has improved its score from 97.9 in 2024 to 99.7 in 2025. 

However, notable shifts have been observed in the positions of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Fudan University. NTU has moved up to the 4th rank and Fudan University dropped to the 5th rank.
