Bihar NMMS 2025 Applications Open at scert.bihar.gov.in - Eligibility, Exam Pattern
The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Bihar has started the application process for the state National Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) 2025 exam. Interested candidates can fill out the application form for the Bihar NMMS 2024 examination through the official SCERT website at scert.bihar.gov.in.
According to the official, the Bihar NMMS 2024 application window will remain open till December 1. Candidates need to fill in all personal and academic details for the registration.
According to the schedule, the Bihar NMMS 2025 exam will be conducted on January 19, 2025. The scholarship hopes to reduce the dropout rate by encouraging students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to continue their higher education.

Bihar NMMS 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Before filling out the registration form, the candidate must take an overview of the eligibility criteria:
- Candidate must be studying in Class 8 at a government school or school recognized by the government.
- A minimum of 55% marks (for general category students) and 50% marks (for SC/ST students) are required to be eligible.
- Candidate must be below 13 years of age in their class 8th.
- The family income of the candidate's parents should not be more than Rs 1,50,000 per annum from all sources.
