CAT 2023: IIM Calcutta Unveils Admission Policy with 30% Exam Weightage

The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 will be administered by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta on November 26 in order to determine admission to MBA programs provided by IIMs and other participating institutions for the academic year 2024–2026.

CAT 2023: IIM Calcutta MBA admission

The MBA program's admissions criteria are the same as they were last year. The following are the minimum academic requirements for IIM Calcutta's MBA program:

An applicant must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with at least 50 percent overall or an equivalent grade point average (CGPA), or 45% for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories.
The proportion of marks gained according to the institute, which is regarded to be equivalent to the bachelor's degree, will be taken into consideration for students who finished an integrated master's or dual degree immediately following their Class 12.
Candidates taking the bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification test in their final year, as well as those who have fulfilled the criteria and are awaiting results.

The institute selects applicants for admission to its MBA programs in three steps.

Stage 1: Minimum CAT percentile criteria should be taken into consideration.
