The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore and Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) Baroda have collaborated to improve the quality of higher education in the institutions in Gujarat. M S University (MSU) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) to collaboratively develop faculty and staff development programs specifically designed for institutions in Gujarat.
“This partnership aims to create new opportunities in higher education by developing short- and long-term certificate programmes that enhance skills and meet contemporary industry demands”, said prof. Hitesh Raviya, the officer on special duty (public relations and communication) at MSU.
“This collaboration with IIM Indore underscores MSU's dedication to achieving excellence in education and innovation”, he added.
Recently, IIM Indore also signed agreements with institutions like Kristiania University College in Norway and Soochow University in China. IIM Indore has a network of 60 partner institutions across 24 countries and continues to expand it's reach globally.
Prof. Himanshu Rai, Director of IIM Indore, and Dr. Kristi Bache, Pro-Rector of Research and Artistic Development at the Norwegian institution signed the first MoU with Kristiania University College. The second agreement was established with Prof. Bo Feng, Dean of the Business School at Soochow University.
Prof. Rai is enthusiastic about both these collaborations and optimistic about future collaborations to successfully enhance the quality of higher education, particularly in Gujarat.
