This decision emerged from a virtual meeting on October 28, 2024, involving representatives from the National Medical Commission (NMC), the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), and various state counselling authorities.

- Haryana and Goa will prepare their own merit lists, continuing their practice of not offering additional incentive marks to in-service candidates.

- NBEMS has urged states to implement a one-time registration for all counselling rounds by November 5, 2024.
- State counselling authorities must submit the list of eligible candidates in a specific format by November 6, 2024.
- Submission and Contact Information:
- Data should be submitted as a password-protected Microsoft Excel file with the password provided separately.
- The state-wise merit lists will be shared by NBEMS within a week of receiving the required data.

- Communication and Deadlines:
- Details about the merit lists and deadlines will be shared on the MCC and NMC websites and communicated via email to all state counselling authorities.
