The National Testing Agency (NTA) updated the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 website on October 25 with the latest updates. Aspiring students who want to check these updates can check online on the official website JEE website — jeemain.nta.nic.in.
NTA changed from the old JEE website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, to the new JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.ac.in, last year. This year, however, the association has once again switched to the old JEE website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The website changed last year because a new platform was developed by the NTA. A senior NTA official told to Indian Express that “Till now, NIC (National Informatics Centre) used to host the online application forms of the JEE Main. Now NTA has developed this new platform and is in the process of using its server for activities related to hosting the online application forms, and generating the city intimation slip, admit card, score card, etc,”. Previously website had an automated chat feature which helped students during the form-filling process.
But, the reason behind this change is still a question. NTA brings back the pre-corona format by removing optional questions from the Section and making it mandatory to do all 5 questions of each subject in Section B.
