The Supreme Court of India is all set to hear the petition against discrepancies in NEET PG 2024 today, i.e. October 25, 2024. The petition was filed by NEET PG candidates regarding last-minute changes in the examination pattern and all other irregularities in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test which concerns the unclear marking system of the NEET PG exam.
According to the reports, students have requested the National Board of Examinations to release the NEET PG answer key 2024 which includes normalised and raw scores. After this petition, candidates are not getting a response to their requests so 19 students filed a petition to the Supreme Court seeking their grievance redressal. The petitioners argued that the NEET PG 2024 result transparency is their prime motive and concern after the release of the normalised score.
The Supreme Court hearing 2024 will be conducted by CJI Chandrachud and justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra. In the previous hearing, the bench was directed by the expert panel to formulate a Standard Operating Procedure related to the registration, exam centre change and conduct of the NEET PG exam. “The report of the Supreme Court hearing is going to be submitted to the Union Ministry of Education to take a decision on the recommendations made by the committee within a period of one month.
The counselling schedule for NEET PG 2024 is expected to be released after the Supreme Court hearing today. It is expected that the NEET PG counselling dates 2024 will be released along with the schedule on the website at mcc.nic.in any time without any delay because it can cause anxiety and stress among the students. The NEET PG counselling registration 2024 is underway. Official authorities have not yet announced the complete counselling schedule.
