Registration for the January session 1 Exam is expected to start in November. The complete schedule for the JEE Main 2025 is yet to be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
While announcing its decision to remove options from the B section, the NTA said that the registrations for JEE Main 2025 will start ‘in due course of time’. The B section questions were introduced during COVID-19. The Agency also announced that jeemain.nta.nic.in will be the official website for JEE Main 2025.
The Joint Entrance Examination is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admissions to various engineering courses across the country. It includes two exams- JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The JEE 2025 will be conducted in two sessions– the January 2025 session and the April 2025 session. The exact dates have not been announced yet by the NTA.
There has been a change in the JEE 2025 Exam Pattern. There will be a total of 75 questions, 25 questions for each subject. Each subject will be divided into two sections– Section A and Section B. Section A will have 20 MCQs and Section B will have only 5 numerical questions, and all of them will be mandatory.
Earlier, 10 questions were given in Section B out of which 5 were to be done. This change was made during COVID-19. However, this year, the exam pattern will be similar to the pre-COVID format with no choice in Section B. The exam carries 300 marks, 100 marks for each subject.
