NCERT To Conduct Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024 On Dec 4 With New Question Papers For 23 Lakh Students

The National Council of Educational Research and Training will conduct the PARAKH Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024 on December 4, 2024. This program will be large-scale, involving over 22.9 lakh students from 75,565 schools from all over India. The students from Grades 3, 6, and 9 will be assessed in various subjects like Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and The World Around Us depending on their grade level. The survey will be done by evaluating competency-based learning, aligning with the objectives of the National Education Policy 2020.

The main motive behind this is to provide comprehensive data to guide educational policy reforms and improve the quality of education in India. The survey will be conducted in 782 districts from all States and Union Territories by utilizing traditional paper-based methods and OMR technology to ensure accurate data collection.

NCERT will conduct the PARAKH Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024 on December 4, 2024, a nationwide educational assessment aimed at evaluating the competency levels of students across Grades 3, 6, and 9. This large-scale survey will involve approximately 23 lakh students from 75,565 schools across 782 districts in 36 states and Union Territories of India. The key focus is to assess students in subjects such as Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and The World Around Us, with tailored question papers for each grade.

The main goal behind this survey is to emphasize competency-based learning rather than rote memorization and aims to collect valuable data on the educational progress of students by helping inform policy decisions and reforms to improve the quality of education in India. In addition to this, the survey will also collect information through teacher, school, and pupil questionnaires.

This survey will cover several levels of coordination with PARAKH and CBSE by working on the operations at the national level but State and District Coordinators will ensure smooth execution at local levels. 

This survey marks an important step towards a more inclusive and data-driven approach by improving India’s educational system and fostering reforms that aim to provide benefits to every child.
