JEE Main 2025: Exam Dates, New Paper Pattern, and NTA Registration Details

JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency is going to publish the JEE Main 2025 exam and registration dates soon. According to the NTA, there is a change in the JEE Main exam pattern 2025 in which section B now will have only 5 questions per subject and students have to answer all 5 questions without any facility of choices. NTA will also start the registration process on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
NTA will also release the notification for JEE Main exam 2025 on the website with details of the exam date, and registration soon.
The NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2025 exam in two sessions in January and April. and the dates will be announced for session 1 and session 2 on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The JEE Mains is going to release the Application Form 2025 in November and candidates have to fill the application form online.
Eligibility Criteria
- To appear, candidates must have completed their Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
- There is no age limit and marks in class 12 for appearing in the exam.
- Candidates can attempt this exam for three consecutive years after the year of passing class 12.
Exam Pattern
The JEE Main 2025 exam will consist of two papers:
- Paper 1 is for admission to BE/BTech courses which cover the questions from classes 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.
- Paper 2 is conducted for admission to BArch and BPlan courses and is divided into
- Paper 2 A for BArch iand
- Paper 2B for BPlan. Paper 2A includes Mathematics, Aptitude Tests, and Drawing while
- Paper 2B covers the subjects of Mathematics, Aptitude Tests, and Planning-based questions.
The exam will be conducted online except the Drawing section of Paper 2 which is a pen-and-paper-based exam. Candidates can check JEE Mains 2025 Syllabus PDF, exam pattern, and JEE Mains previous year papers to prepare for the exam.
