The Common Admission Test is said to be an entrance exam for candidates who want to be admitted in management programs in the best and most prestigious institutions i.e the IIMs. One of the most challenging parts is The Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning which is popularly known as the DILR section. Based on recent patterns here is a detailed breakdown of the DILR section for CAT 2024:
Total Number of Questions: There are between 20-22 questions which should be done in 40 minutes for this section. This section is divided into four to six sets of questions and each set covers 4-6 questions.

The exam covers 14 to 16 Multiple Choice Questions from which candidates have to select the correct option from the choices given.
There are around 6 to 8 questions from TITA which is said to be Type In The Answer where candidates have to fill in the correct answer without options provided.
