RBI Summer Placement Internship Programme Eligibility Criteria
The Reserve Bank of India has commenced the process for registration process for a summer internship program for 2025. According to the RBI’s officials, the registration portal will open on the official website on October 15, till December 15, 2024.
The registrations for the internship will before three months and will start in April 2025. Interviews will be organized for the shortlisted candidates at RBI offices in the same state as their educational institutions in January and February 2025. Candidates will be informed about the selection in March and April 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who are interested in this internship must be in the penultimate year of a postgraduate or integrated program.
- Candidates who are from recognized institutions located in India are only eligible.
- Those who are doing similar courses at foreign universities are also eligible to apply for this internship program.
RBI is going to select only 125 students for summer placement every year. Outstation candidates who are shortlisted have to bear the travel costs of the journey to the office of RBI and back for their interview.
Once the candidates are selected for the program, then they will be provided AC II Tier return fare by rail from the place of their institute to the place of summer placement.
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 20,000 per month but the trainees will have to make accommodation arrangements on their own.
