NEET PG 2024 Counselling: AIQ Round 1 Schedule, SC Hearing, Registration Updates
Introduction
The counselling schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 is expected to be announced soon. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is conducting the NEET PG 2024 Counselling Process. The counselling is being conducted for admissions to All India Quota (AIQ) seats in Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Diplomate of National Board (DNB), and postgraduate diploma programmes. To register, candidates will have to visit the official MCC website– mcc.nic.in.
The NEET PG 2034 registration process for the first round began on 20 September 2024. However, there has not been any update on the complete schedule. Choice-filling dates are yet to be announced. Many student associations and doctors shared an expected schedule on social media. The MCC has said, “PG counselling schedule 2024 will be available soon.”

Supreme Court Neet PG Counselling, SC to hear NEET PG plea on October 25
The NEET PG Case will be heard by the Supreme Court of India on 25 October 2024. A petition was filed by medical students to disclose the response sheets, raw scores, pre-normalized scores, normalised results, and answer keys for NEET PG 2024. The lack of transparency and discrepancies in the ranking process created suspicion among the students. Students seek justice on the issue from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) and the government.
