Infosys Foundation Launches STEM Stars Scholarship Programme 2024-25, Rs 1 Lakh for Female Students
Introduction
The Infosys Foundation has introduced the STEM Stars scholarship programme for the year 2024-25 which will help female students in India to pursue undergraduate degrees in:
- Science
- Technology
- Engineering
- Mathematics
- Medical sciences
- Bachelor of dental surgery or bachelor of pharmacy.
According to the official press release, the scholarship will help by providing financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh per annum which will cover tuition fees, living expenses, and study materials. The selection process for this scholarship will be done based on the applicant's academic performance, financial need and potential to contribute to the field of STEM.
Female students will receive help for four years who will be enrolled in Bachelor of Technology or five-year programmes such as Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Integrated Master’s programmes, and dual degree programmes Students pursuing three-year Bachelor of Science (BSc) programs are eligible for financial aid for up to three years.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the STEM Stars Scholarship Program 2024-25, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants should be female who are citizens of India.
- Applicants must be enrolled in the first year of a three-year BSc degree in courses
- Should have secured the first or second year of BTech, MBBS, BPharm, BDS, Integrated Masters, or Dual Degree.
- According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework, applicants should also be enrolled in institutes ranked among the top institutions for the year 2023 or 2024.
- Applicants should also secure admission to the identified colleges and complete their Class 12 education.
- An annual Family income of Rs 8 lakh or less is necessary

Documents required
Candidates should submit the list of documents required for the Infosys Foundation STEM Stars scholarship programme 2024-25 which are as follows:
- Class 12 mark sheet
- Recent passport-size photograph.
- Government-issued identity proof i.e Aadhaar card, Voter ID card, Driving licence, PAN card
- JEE, CET, NEET scorecard
- Current year admission proof
- Income proof certificate as issued by appropriate government offices, BPL card, or Ayushman Bharat card
- Bank account details of the applicant
