GATE 2025 – Paper Addition Facility Open, Make Changes Now
GATE 2025 registrations have ended. The deadline to submit the GATE application form with late fees was October 11, 2024. Still, candidates who have successfully submitted their application form have the option to add a secondary GATE paper. The GOAPS portal is still accessible for this. The GATE 2025 exam will be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, in two phases is conducted by IIT Roorkee: Morning shift (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and Afternoon shift (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm).
How to access GATE Test Paper II options after the due date?
Adding the GATE second paper is an easy process, Here is the guide:
- Go to the official portal at gate2025.iitr.ac.in
- On the homepage click the application tab and select the “Apply Online” link
- Log in using your enrollment ID and password
- The GATE application form status will appear on the screen as you log in.
- Beneath the GATE application form with one test paper, you will find the option to add a second paper
- Choose the “GATE Paper II”
- Review your choice and submit the form by making the payment
- Take a printout for future needs
Candidates need to pay a paper-adding fee of INR 2300 online via debit/credit card, UPI, net baking, and wallet.
GATE 2025 Application Form Correction Field
Not all fields can be changed here is the list of the fields that candidates are allowed to make change:
- Gender
- Category(if applicable)
- PwD status
- Dyslexia and other similar disabilities
- Details of parents
- Corresponding address
- Examination paper
- Exam Centre
All the changes can be made online through the GOAPS portal correction window will tentatively begin in November 2024. However, the conducting body has declared the last date of the correction window that be November 6, 2024
