Bennett University Launches STEAM Scholarships for Women in Partnership with PRIF
Introduction
The Bennett University has launched STEAM Scholarships for Women in Partnership with the Pernod Ricard India Foundation (PRIF). The Scholarships aim at women's empowerment by providing financial support to the female students enrolled at Bennett University. Women pursuing any course in Technology, Science, Arts, Engineering, and Mathematics.
“By empowering women to excel in STEAM, the partnership seeks to bridge the gender gap and create a diverse workforce that reflects the society we live in,” read the official BU statement.
The programme started in September 2024. This partnership between Bennett University and the PRIF will help all the women in the BU and will bridge the gap between male and female students.
The Pernod Ricard India Foundation (PRIF) has been involved in many various activities like environmental sustainability, preventive health care, promoting education, and enhancement of livelihood. About 8 lakh lives have been impacted through these programs run by the foundation.
