CAT 2024:The Quantitative Aptitude (QA) section of the CAT (Common Admission Test) looks very complicated for non-engineering candidates. But engineering students have plus points in mathematics because they have studied math their whole careers, With a proper framework right approach with a broad road map non-engineering students can also conquer this test with ease.
Non-engineering candidates can refer to this news below to learn how to prepare for the QA section with ease and crack the exam.
Before diving into any exam knowing syllabus the syllabus of the exam is very important. Here is the syllabus for CAT 2024:

For non-engineering students, QA is the most challenging task because they have studied math till class 10th. They need to know that Maths is not very complicated in the CAT It is only the basics that they have studied in class 10th which they need to brush up
First of all, they need to analyze the QA syllabus with the pyq’s queues and separate the high-weightage topics like percentages, ratios, time-speed-distance, geometry, and algebra. Typically, 22 questions are asked in this section.
Non-engineers should give priority to subjects like algebra and arithmetic that include high weightage and need less work to learn. By concentrating on these areas, you may lay a solid foundation for approaching the subject.
If candidates do not have any basics they can start from class 6th ncert which is a very good source of foundation, they must practice the ncert from class 6th to 10th to brush up on their basics.
After revising and done up with basics candidates must take several mock tests so that they can become familiar with the nature of the exam apart from this mock tests are very necessary because:
Here is the breakdown of the CAT 2024 exam pattern:
1. Verbal ability and reading comprehension [ VARC]
2. Data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR)
3. Quantitative Ability (QA)
