NMIMS School of Business Management Achieves Prestigious EQUIS Accreditation
The NMIMS School of Business Management has become India's first university-embedded business school to secure this accolade, becoming the seventh B-school in the country to be accredited by EQUIS. It is one of the best business schools that has a holistic approach to business education.
“Securing EQUIS accreditation for SBM marks a significant milestone. This recognition reflects our commitment to academic rigour, impactful research, robust industry connections, and the cultivation of socially responsible global business leaders.”, said Ramesh Bhat, Vice-Chancellor of NMIMS University.
Justin Paul, Dean and Provost of SBM, highlighted how important the accreditation is; he said “The EQUIS accreditation positions NMIMS School of Business Management among the elite global business schools. It underscores our commitment to providing a transformative learning experience enriched by industry partnerships and a focus on ethics and sustainability.”
The institution was thoroughly assessed before giving it the EQUIS Accreditation. Areas like student quality, staff expertise, job opportunities, graduate outcomes, industry engagement, etc, were closely examined. A stringent admission process, a diverse student body, comprehensive academic pathways, and strong industry connections are some of the reasons why SBM has been awarded the EQUIS Accreditation. The accreditation helps the institute enhance its global presence.
