AIBE Exam Eligibility 2024 REVISED, Check age limit, qualifications, number of attempts here
The AIBE Exam 2024 Eligibility Criteria has been revised by the Bar Council Of India (BCI). The AIBE 19 Exam will be conducted on 2 November 2024. Candidates are advised to check the Eligibility Criteria before applying for the same. The application process for AIBE 19 has started. Candidates in their final year of LLB/ BA LLB courses are also eligible to appear for the All India Bar Examination now. Earlier, only law graduates were allowed to appear for the AIBE Exam. Another significant change made by the BCI in eligibility criteria is that candidates do not need to have enrolment certificates from a state bar council to appear for the AIBE Exam.

AIBE 19 Eligibility Criteria Key Points
These are the important points released by the BCI for AIBE 19–
- The link for filling out the registration form remains the same for all candidates.
- Candidates who are not yet enrolled with the State Bar Council but are law graduates and have obtained a law degree, or are in the final semester of their 3-year or 5-year LL.B. degree course with no backlogs, or law graduates who are currently employed in some service or job but are not yet enrolled or have surrendered their enrollment on account of their job, such candidates must submit an undertaking.
- You can download this undertaking from the AIBE website or find it on the last page of the application form. After completing the undertaking, you must upload a scanned copy (not a mobile photo) of the signed document.
- Candidates who are already enrolled and have an enrollment certificate must upload their self-attested enrollment certificate. The undertaking form is only for candidates who do not possess an enrollment certificate or are in the final semester of a 3-year or 5-year integrated LL.B degree course with no backlogs.
- If you are in the final semester of your 3-year or 5-year integrated LL.B. degree course, you must attach self-attested, scanned copies (not photos) of your mark sheets for each semester. For 3-year LL.B. degree course candidates, submit mark sheets from Semester I to Semester V. For 5-year integrated LL.B. degree course candidates, submit mark sheets from Semester I to Semester IX.
- If you have passed your LL.B. degree course but have not yet obtained your Law degree, you must attach self-attested, scanned copies (not photos) of all your mark sheets. For 3-year LL.B. degree course candidates, submit marksheets from Semester I to Semester VI. For 5-year integrated LL.B. degree course candidates, submit marksheets from Semester I to Semester X.
