AIBE Exam Eligibility 2024 REVISED, Check age limit, qualifications, number of attempts here

The AIBE Exam 2024 Eligibility Criteria has been revised by the Bar Council Of India (BCI). The AIBE 19 Exam will be conducted on 2 November 2024. Candidates are advised to check the Eligibility Criteria before applying for the same. The application process for AIBE 19 has started. Therefore, candidates are expected to apply before the last date, i.e., 25 October 2024. For any queries, visit the official website– allindiabarexamination.com. 

Candidates in their final year of LLB/ BA LLB courses are also eligible to appear for the All India Bar Examination now. Earlier, only law graduates were allowed to appear for the AIBE Exam. Another significant change made by the BCI in eligibility criteria is that candidates do not need to have enrolment certificates from a state bar council to appear for the AIBE Exam. 

AIBE 19 Eligibility Criteria 2024 

Eligibility Criteria for the AIBE 19 Exam 2024 have been mentioned below. 

PARAMETERS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Qualifying Exam Candidates who have passed or are in the final year of a three-year LLB or five-year LLB degree are eligible to appear for the AIBE exam.
Minimum Marks Required No minimum marks are required to appear in the AIBE exam. However, a candidate must secure a minimum percentage or grades in their law degree as prescribed by universities for further education.
Age Limit There is no upper or lower age limit for appearing in the All India Bar Examination.
State Bar Council Registration A State Bar Council enrollment is no longer mandatory for AIBE eligibility. A candidate who has not registered with their State Bar Councils as an Advocate can apply.
