NEET Counselling 2024: MCC Releases Seat Resignation Guidelines, Last Date to Vacate

Introduction 

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the NEET Counselling 2024 Seat Resignation Guidelines. An official notice has been released by the MCC that allows allotted students to resign their seats. The last date to resign their allotted seat is 1 October 2024. Therefore, students are expected to resign their seats before the given date to avoid any inconvenience. 

The official notice states, “It is for the information to all candidates that requests are being received from UG candidates who want to resign their Round-1 or Round-2 seats due to various reasons. In

In this regard, the competent authority has decided to allow Resignation for such candidates. The candidates who desire to leave their Round-1 or Round-2 seat can do so up to 05:00 P.M of 01.10.2024.” 

 

NEET Counselling 2024 Round 2 Institute Reporting Closed 

The NEET Counselling 2024 Round 2 Institute Reporting ended yesterday i.e., 27 September 2024. Those who have been allotted a seat in Round 2 are expected to report to the allotted college and complete the admission process to secure their seat. 

 

NEET UG Seat Resignation Process 2024

It is to be noted that to resign their seats, candidates will have to report to the college in person and ask the college to generate their resignation letter online through the MCC-provided portal. Candidates are recommended to ensure that their resignation letter is generated online (through the portal provided by MCC) by the allotted college, without which the resignation will be treated as ‘Null & Void’.
