NEET UG 2024 MCC Notice Issued For Candidates Seeking Seat Resignation: Check Details
The Medical Counselling Committee has issued a notice for the candidates who want to resign from their seats in Round 1 and Round 2 of the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling for 2024. As per the notice, those who wish to resign their seats can go through before October 1, 2024. This decision was taken by The MCC after numerous requests from candidates.
According to the official notice, ‘It is for the information to all candidates that requests are being received from UG candidates who want to resign their Round-1 or Round-2 seats due to various reasons. In this regard, the competent authority has decided to allow Resignation for such candidates. The candidates who desire to leave their Round-1 or Round-2 seat can do so up to 05:00 P.M of 01.10.2024.’
MCC has also mentioned many of the important instructions for the candidates who want to step back.
- Candidates who are freshly allotted candidates of Round 2 who joined their seat but now want to resign can vacate their seat with forfeiture of the security deposit within the given time of resignation.
- Round-1 candidates who did not want to get upgraded in Round 2 can also resign from their seat without forfeiture of the security deposit within the stipulated time of resignation.
- Candidates should report at the allotted college personally to resign their seats.
- Candidates are requested to ensure that their Resignation Letter is generated online by the allotted college, failing which the resignation will be treated as ‘Null & Vo
