MCC NEET PG Counselling 2024: What is the bond policy? State-wise service bond

Students eagerly await their NEET PG counseling 2024 registration process for admission to postgraduate medical courses as it has not been scheduled yet. Important details like fee structure, stipend, bond policy, and duration of courses are released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on their official website mcc.nic.in. The committee advised the student to double-check their bond terms and conditions and stipend details at mcc. nic.in before choice filling.

MCC NEET PG counseling 2024 dates, the choice filling link will begin today 24, September 2024, and 26, September 2024 is the last date for submission of application form and choice locking.

NEET PG bond policy 

An agreement between the student and the state government to provide medical services in rural, tribal areas in the same state where they are pursuing the postgraduate course.

NEET PG Bond and Stipend Policy Statewise

NEET PG Bond in Haryana

Haryana enrolls candidates who complete their postgraduate medical degrees to serve for a certain period in government hospitals. According to the latest updates, the bond amount in Haryana lies between ?7-10 lakhs depending on the institution, and the service period typically lasts for two to three years.

UP Medical PG Bond

Uttar Pradesh (UP) has one of the rigid bond policies. Candidates in government medical colleges in UP are expected to sign a bond that could require them to serve for a period of two to three years. If they choose to break this bond, they must pay a big penalty that ranges between ?10-15 lakhs.

NEET SS Bond in Different States

NEET SS (Super Specialty) candidates, like NEET PG aspirants, are also subject to bond policies in many states. These policies are very rigid as they deal with highly specialized doctors. For example, in states like Gujarat and Tamil Nadu, NEET SS graduates may have to sign bonds worth ?25-30 lakhs and serve at least a minimum of 2 years.
