The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued notice for candidates willing to convert their nationality from Indian to NRI. Such candidates will have to request via email to MCC the required document proving their nationality by September 17
In the notice, MCC has stated, “It is for the information to all the candidates that those who are claiming to be NRI should send their relevant documents as mentioned below, in support of their claim to change nationality from Indian to NRI through e-mail “nri.adgmemcc1@gmail.com”.
Documents Required for nationality change: NEET PG 2024 Counselling
Here is the list of required documents that a candidate must have for NEET PG 2024 counselling nationality change:
- A signed declaration from an NRI sponsor stating that they will support the candidate financially for the entire course duration.
- A copy of the sponsor’s valid passport showing NRI status, including visa and residency details.
- NEET scorecard
- Affidavit of Relationship.
- The Bank Account statement of the sponsor.
- Embassy certificate of the sponsor.
How to Apply for Nationality Conversion to NRI?

- Visit the official portal by searching mcc.nic.in and logging in with the required credentials.
- Eligible candidates can fill out the form on the portal and must upload the required document.
- After uploading the document MCC will verify the documents and notify candidates regarding the approval or rejection of their nationality conversion request.
- After the nationality conversion is approved, candidates can proceed with the NEET PG 2024 counselling as NRI candidates.
