CAT 2024 Registration Closes Today: Check Fees, Eligibility, and Last Year’s Cut-off for Top IIMs
The CAT 2024 Registration will be closing Today i.e., 13 September 2024. Candidates can register themselves before 5 pm. The Indian Institution of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) is conducting the CAT this year.
The exam date is 24 November 2024, and it will be an online exam. A total of 66 questions will be asked in the CAT 2024 Exam.
There will be three shifts:
- 8:30 am to 10:30 am
- 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm
- 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
The paper will be divided into a total of three sections-
- Verbal Ability and Reading
- Comprehension (VARC)
- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)
- Quantitative Aptitude (QA)
CAT Registration Fees
The registration fee for the CAT 2024 Exam is mentioned below-
- INR 2,500 for General and Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
- INR 1,250 for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
The fees can be paid through online modes using a debit card, credit card, UPI or net banking.
CAT 2024: Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility Criteria for the CAT 2024 is as follows–
A bachelor's degree with a CGPA of at least 50% (45% for SC, ST, PwD, and DA categories) from a recognized institution is required.
- The degree should be a 3-year program and could be completed through regular, distance, or online modes.
- Final-year students or candidates waiting for their results are also eligible.
- Candidates having a professional degree such as CA, CS, ICWA, or FCAI can also appear for the CAT 2024.
- Both working professionals and fresh graduates can apply for the exam.
