NRTS 2024 Registration Begins at bseodisha.ac.in: Check Eligibility, Fee & Exam Pattern
The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has started the process for the National Rural Talent Scholarship(NRTS) Examination. So, interested students are supposed to fill out the registration form through the Head of the institutions on the the official website, bseodisha.ac.in. Any number of students can apply for this as there is no restriction to appear for the NRTS examination.
Students selected for this will receive Rs. 250 per month for 24 months to continue their studies for Class 9 and 10, with satisfactory academic performance. Registration form is filled by filling out the important details like school code as their User ID and the previously used password to log in. New schools, however, can log in using their school code and the default password- school@123.
The last date for doing rhe registration process for NRTS 2024 is September 20. The NRTS 2024 exam fee is Rs 60 per candidate.
Eligibility criteria of NRTS 2024
- Candidates must have a “No Objection Certificate” from their schools.
- The scholarship is provided to only those students from schools that are following the syllabus of the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
- Students should have passed Class 8 or have enrolled in Class 9.
- The Odisha government must recognise the student’s schools.
- Students of only SEBC category should have to give income proof showing that their annual income does not exceed INR 1.5 lakh.
Steps to apply for NRTS 2024
- Open the official website of BSE Odisha: bseodisha.ac.in by the Head of the institutes.
- Select ‘Application for the National Rural Talent Search Examination 2024′.
- A new window will open, authorities must then fill in the required details by using school code as user ID and password.
Exam Pattern of NRTS 2024
- Eligible students are going to be selected for the NRTS scholarship through a written examination which is conducted by the BSE, Odisha.
- The test of NRTS will cover subjects such as MIL, Mathematics, General Science, and Social Science and part of questions from the syllabus of class 8th.
- The question paper will comprise four sections and each section will be of 25 marks, which makes the total score 100 marks.
- The exam will have multiple choice questions and students have to record their answers on the OMR sheet by choosing the correct answer.
- The student’s performance will be evaluated based on marks scored for the MIL subject selected.
