IGNOU re-extends the July fresh admission 2024 deadline for ODL, online programs
The deadline for applying for admissions has been extended by the Indira Gandhi National Open University to 10 September 2024. It is important to note that this does not include certificate and semester-based programs. The re-registration date for IGNOU ODL July 2024 admissions has also been extended to September 10.

Applications for IGNOU 2024 Admission are being accepted by the Indira Gandhi National Open University now. The IGNOU Admission Last Date 2024 would be 10 September 2024. Candidates are therefore expected to apply before the given date. To do so, visit the official website ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. For online courses, another website has been provided– ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.
IGNOU 2024 Application
To apply follow the steps mentioned below-
- Candidates will have to visit ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
- Then they are required to register themselves first on the portal
- The IGNOU registration form must be filled with correct details.
- The next step is uploading scanned documents. These must not exceed the mentioned file size.
- Now, make the fee payment positively, submit your form and print a copy for yourself.
Apply for IGNOU Admission 2024: Documents Required
Here are all the documents required to apply for IGNOU Admission 2024-
- scanned passport-size photograph
- scanned signature
- scanned documents of required educational qualification
- scanned copy of experience certificate, (if any)
Photo and signature size must not exceed 100 KB. Other documents must be less than 200 KB. Also, the files must be scanned from the original documents.
IGNOU registration fees 2024
The registration fee is INR 300, which is non-refundable. Modes like net banking, debit and credit cards are accepted. The payment must be done at the time of the form application.
