The Central Board of Secondary Education will be joining hands with the British Council to form a New Framework for internal assessment. It hopes to create an inclusive framework that encompasses a fair assessment, transparency, consistent improvements, and ethical exam conduction. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is the central body that regulates all the procedures in the educational field. It is a national-level educational board. Board exams for 10th and 12th standards are conducted by CBSE. It is responsible for issuing mark sheets for the same. All the educational policies and guidelines are formed by CBSE.
The new framework for internal assessment will be coordinated with the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCFSE). The British Council is expected to play a significant role in developing a comprehensive framework for internal assessment (Class 6-12). This new CBSE curriculum will hopefully make a difference in the future.
Installation of CCTV in the examination halls will be done to avoid the use of any unfair means during an exam.
