The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell yesterday i.e. on August 27 marked the beginning of the online preference form submission for the Maharashtra NEET UG counseling for MBBS and BDS programs. For the MBBS and BDS programs, candidates who have been shortlisted in the provisional merit list can complete the choices at "medical2024.mahacet.org/NEET-UG-2024".
Candidates who have registered may complete their choices between August 27 to August 29. The seat allocation results for the first round are scheduled to be released on August 30.
Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 Counselling: Steps to download the provisional merit list
Step 1: Visit “medical2024.mahacet.org”, the State CET's official website.
Step 2: Applicants must find and click on the website labeled "Provisional Merit List of Registered Candidates for MBBS, BDS Courses (Group A) of NEET UG 2024".
Step 3: Your screen will display the PDF containing the merit list.
Step 4: Locate your name in the list by using the search tool.
Step 5: Applicants have the option to see, download, and store the PDF for later use.

2. Provisional Merit List Publication: August 26.
3. Seat Matrix Publication: August 27.
4. Preference Form Online Filling: August 27 to August 29.
5. Announcement of Round 1 Selection List: August 30.
Important candidate information such as their name, gender, category, NEET roll number, CET cell online form number, NRI status, and any special reservation is included in the provisional merit list PDF. A total of 59,132 individuals applied for admission to the MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BPTH, BOTH, BASLP, and B (P and O) programs, according to the list published on the website. Only 55,781 of these applicants are accepted into the MBBS and BDS programs.
