GATE 2025 Registration Date Revised to August 28 at gate2025.iitr.ac.in
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has updated the GATE 2025 registration schedule. Registration for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 will now begin on August 28, 2024. Interested candidates can register through the GATE 2025 registration link. The registration window without a late fee will close on September 26, 2024, while the final registration process with a late fee will end on October 7, 2024.
GATE 2025 is scheduled to be conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The exam will be held in two sessions each day: the first session from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the second session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The exam is essential for admission to Master’s in Technology (MTech) and direct PhD programs in IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other institutions across India. It is also utilized by various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and State Electricity Boards (SEB) for recruitment.

- For All Other Candidates: ?1,800

GATE 2025 Application Process
Candidates interested in appearing for GATE 2025 must follow these steps to complete the application process:
- Registration: Visit the GATE 2025 official website and register with your details to create an account.
- Filling the Application Form: Log in to your account and fill out the GATE 2025 application form. Provide accurate information, including personal details, academic qualifications, and preferred test papers.
- Uploading Documents: Upload the required documents as per the specifications given in the application portal. This may include passport-sized photographs, signatures, and proof of eligibility.
- Selecting Test Papers and Exam Cities: Choose the test papers you wish to appear for (up to two) and select your preferred exam cities.
- Payment of Application Fee: Pay the GATE 2025 application fee online using a credit/debit card or net banking. The fee is ?900 for SC/ST/PwD/female candidates and ?1,800 for all other candidates.
