UP NEET UG 2024: Round 1 counselling registration closes; what’s next?
Uttar Pradesh NEET Counselling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) , Lucknow which is an educational organization for admission to medical and dental courses in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Every year, Directorate of Medical Education and Training conducts counselling for 85% seats in Government Medical/Dental Colleges and 100% seats in Private Medical/Dental Colleges. And the remaining 15% seats in Government Medical and Dental Colleges will be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
*UP NEET 2024 have announced their counselling dates and schedules and registration for Round-1 counselling began on August 20, 2024. The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh, closed the registrations for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (UP NEET) 2024 counselling on August 24
*It will depend on registration and then a merit list will be released which includes eligible candidates for UP NEET 2024 counselling.
Now, DMET=will declare round-1 counselling result on August 30, 2024.
Candidates have to register on the official website, upneet.gov.in.
*In order to participate in the UP seat allocation process the candidate has to submit the application form. The merit list for UP MBBS/BDS admission will be for eligible candidates for counselling rounds. Candidates have to choose their preference for choices of their desired college and course for seat allotment. It must be noted UP NEET counselling 2024 will be held for allotment of 85% seats
* The Medical Counselling Committee will arrange for NEET 2024 counselling process for allotment of rest 15% which is for All India Quota seats. It is compulsory criteria for the counselling to qualify for NEET 2024 with the minimum cutt off.
WHAT TO DO NEXT ?
*Candidates who want to register for the UP NEET-UG counselling will have to fill out their choices till August 29 because this is the only period when candidates can choose their institutes and colleges according to their choices.
*The options for choosing their best will only be provided to those candidates who have completed online verification of their original documents and submitted the required security deposit.
