NEET UG counseling 2024: Round 1 seat allotment out for MBBS, BDS admissions

NEET UG Round One Counselling 2024: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2024 counseling seat allotment results for round 1 for BDS and MBBS admissions under the 15 percent All India Quota (AIQ).

The candidates who passed the NEET and registered for the MCC counseling can check their seat allotment status on the official website of MCC “mcc.nic.in”.

NEET UG seat allotment 2024: How to check allotment?

To download the seat allotment the students can follow the steps given below:

Step 1: First visit the MCC official website - mcc.nic.in.

Step 2: Select the link ‘NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment Result’.

Step 3: Fill in your date of birth and application number.

Step 4: Enter the information and sign in to your profile.

Step 5: Check the displayed details of the seat allotment.

Step 6: Download the allotment order for future reference.

The seat allotment list of NEET UG 2024 will consist of crucial details like the NEET rank of each candidate, the medical college they have been allotted to, the quota under which they have been allotted, their allotment status, and the course.

NEET UG seat allotment 2024: After seat allotment what’s next?

According to the schedule, candidates who receive an admission offer in Round 1 of the NEET counseling must report to their assigned college between August 24 and August 29.

The admitted candidates' data verification by the colleges and the MCC sharing this information will occur from August 30 to August 31.

If a candidate is unsatisfied with their seat allotment, they can express their interest to upgrade to a higher preference they had submitted previously. The candidates must download and carry their MCC NEET UG 2024 allotment order to report to their assigned college.

In addition, for verification, the candidates must bring several documents including Class 10 and 12 certificates, a valid ID proof, and, if applicable, income, caste, and PwD certificates.

They should also bring at least eight passport-sized photographs that match the one uploaded to their NEET UG application.
