NEET UG 2024 Counselling Registration Begins Today at mcc.nic.in; Steps to Apply

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will start the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate 2024 Counselling Registration for round 1 today i.e. August 14, 2024, till August 20, 2024. The NEET UG 2024 Counselling Registration will begin for 15% of all India Quota (AIQ) MBBS, BDS seats. Candidates who have passed the medical entrance exam can apply for the MCC NEET UG counselling 2024 and must submit the form on the official website “mcc.nic.in”.

The MCC has recommended candidates verify their eligibility and domicile on the website for the central universities' institutional quota seats.

NEET UG 2024 Counselling Process

Step 1: NEET registration process and fee payment including security deposit.
Step 2: Choice filling and locking.
Step 3: Allotment of seats for NEET.
Step 4: Reporting to the allotted Dental/Medical College.
Step 5: Vacant seats are released.

NEET UG 2024 Counselling Documents Required

1. NEET Admit Card, Scorecard or Rank Letter.
2. ID proof (Aadhar/PAN Card/Passport/Driving License).
3. Eight passport-size photographs.
4. Provisional Allotment Letter.
5. Class 10 and 12 certificate and marksheet.
6. Caste Certificate or PwD Certificate (if applicable).

NEET UG 2024 Counselling: How to Register

Step 1: First visit the MCC official website - mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: A homepage appears, and from the menu options select “UG Medical”.
Step 3: Search for the “Important Links” section and click on the registration link.
Step 4: Enter your required basic details in the registration form.
Step 5: Once registered, the candidates must continue to the choice-filling and locking stage.
Step 6: Depending on eligibility as well as availability, the candidates should choose preferred colleges and courses.
Step 7: To confirm, lock your selections and then submit.

“The seat conversion will be carried out during Round 3 for AIQ, deemed, central universities/institutes, JIPMER, AIIMS, and BSc Nursing courses.
